Salted
After windy bicycle ride this evening, I called up my people to see who was going where. Spotting Vincent Kwok (of Bargrooves fame) on the flyer for Salted at Mighty, I knew that was the party I wanted to go to.
Mauricio Aviles was on the tables when I got there, playing a nice mix of vocal house tracks. MFR followed, morphing between the disco-influenced vocal stuff to the edgier techno-based cuts. Vincent Kwok came on about 2 in the morning and wrecked the speaker stacks with a nice set, reminiscent of his work on the mix in my iPod. Great music all night.
Ernie and Patrick were both there. It has been so long since I’ve seen any of my friends that it was becoming increasingly difficult to remember that I had any. Although the crowd was pretty sparse tonight, there were some interesting people at the shindig, including a couple of party producers who, for some idiot reason, want me to come and do my thing at their parties. Interesting.
