Reason 3.0
For any of you who are electronic musicians, I just received word from Propellerheads that they’ve released Reason 3.0. If you’re a currently registered owner of any version of Reason, you can upgrade for $129.
The 3.0 version adds lots of new gizmos including a new Mastering Suite. When my musical output increases from, well, zero, I’m going to buy 3.0. The new additions look really cool and, while I haven’t had a chance to play with any betas or anything (or indeed my own 2.5 since I misplaced the CDs shortly before purchasing a PowerBook—it keeps asking me for one of them to authorize this machine), I don’t have first-hand knowledge about what the controls feel like. Hopefully, I’ll get on the ball, find my inspiration again, and create a need to upgrade music software I don’t even use right now.
Congratulations on the new Reason, Propellerheads.
